Leighton, you were such an intelligent man and amongst many passions you loved Shakespeare. I remember you and Bonnie reading out favourite Shakespeare extracts over some wine, I remember going to see Shakespeare with you too and I remember your wit and luminous intelligence. We were so sad to hear you'd left us. When I was looking for some Shakespeare for consolation I found this. It comforted me. With much love, Madeline and Jon xxxx From the play Cymbeline by Shakespeare. Fear no more the heat o' the sun, Nor the furious winter's rages; Thou thy worldly task hast done, Home art gone, and ta'en thy wages; Golden lads and girls all must, As chimney-sweepers, come to dust. Fear no more the frown o' the great; Thou art past the tyrant's stroke: Care no more to clothe and eat; To thee the reed is as the oak: The sceptre, learning, physic, must All follow this, and come to dust.
